Costumbres de mi Tierra

En el Perú se celebran cerca de 3.000 fiestas populares al año. La mayoría de ellas se organiza en torno de un santo patrón y se inscribe dentro de un calendario cristiano adoptado en la época colonial, pero cuidadosamente fusionado a las creencias mágico-religiosas de una región particular.

A estas fiestas religiosas se suman otras celebraciones netamente paganas como las vinculadas a mitos ancestrales en las comunidades nativas de la selva y las numerosas fiestas creadas en los últimos siglos o décadas. Además, en el mismo día de celebración, los migrantes organizados en alrededor de cuatro mil clubes montan réplicas urbanas de las diversas fiestas que se realizan en los pueblos de origen.

Las fiestas del Perú forman un radiante arco iris, a cuyo colorido se unen sonidos, texturas y una vigorosa teatralidad dirigida a reinventar la historia y producir una síntesis celebratoria del hombre con su madre tierra.

La Chunguinada, una de las danzas mas hermosas del centro del Perú, representa al Boato y la espectacularidad de los bailes que efectuaban los nobles que gobernarón y fructuarón las riquezas  minerales de Cerro de Pasco durante la Colonia. Se baila particularmente durante todo el mes de Mayo de cada año, en homenaje a la fiesta de las cruces, pero en otros pueblos de la Región durante todo el año en homenaje a los santos y santas patronas.

Cada año el 24 de junio Cusco celebra el festival de Inti Raymi . Este festival fue celebrado por el Incas como el festival del sol donde honran al dios del sol Wiracocha. El Inti Raymi simboliza el consecration eterno de la unión entre el sol y sus hijos, los seres humanos. Inti Raymi era el festival más importante del imperio Tawantinsuyu del Inca que basó su religión en el culto del sol. El 24 de junio celebran el solsticio del invierno, en otras palabras el principio del Año Nuevo. El solsticio comienza científico el 21 de junio, pero según el Pacha Unachaq , un sundial usado por el Incas, las estancias del sol algunos días en el mismo lugar antes de levantarse el 24 de junio. Este día fue proclamado por el sacerdote alto como el Año Nuevo: ¡Inti Raymi !

THE CHUNGUINADA:

The Chunguinada, one of the most beautiful dances of Central Peru, represents the pageantry and spectacle of the dance who performed the nobles who ruled and fruitful the mineral wealth of Cerro de Pasco in the colony. INTI RAYMI:

Every year on June 24 Cusco celebrates the festival of Inti Raymi. This festival was celebrated by the Incas as the Festival of the Sun where they honor the sun god Viracocha. The Inti Raymi symbolizes the eternal consecration of marriage between the sun and their children, human beings. Inti Raymi was the most important festival of the Inca empire Tawantinsuyu who based his religion in worship of the sun. On June 24, celebrate the winter solstice, in other words the beginning of the New Year. The scientific solstice begins on June 21, but according to the Pacha Unachaq, a sundial used by the Incas, the sun stays some days in the same place before getting on 24 June. This day was proclaimed by the high priest as the New Year: Inti Raymi!

Ica es una región vitivinícola por excelencia y los vinos que se producen en esta tierra están considerados como los mejores del país. Con tales antecedentes es lógico que sea la fiesta de la uva la que despierta mayor entusiasmo y mayor alegría.
Desde su origen humilde y pueblerino, la fiesta de la vendimia se ha incorporado ahora en el calendario turístico del Perú y hasta tiene nombre de abolengo: hoy la llaman Festival Internacional de la Vendimia.

El Festival, que ya lleva más de 30 versiones, se realiza entre el 8 y el 18 de marzo, y su organización está encomendada al Concejo Provincial y al Club de Leones. Los fondos que se obtienen se dedican a obras benéficas.

El festival dura más de una semana y acuden hermosas muchachas de América y Europa, representando a sus respectivos paises. Suntuosos bailes se suceden noche a noche y en el día y la tarde se realizan actuaciones deportivas, folklóricas, culturales, etc. Todas las clases sociales tienen participación directa en el festival y mientras en el centro social se lleva a cabo el baile principal, en la plazuela Barranca se desarrolla el baile popular.

La "Mamacha Candelaria", "Mamita Canticha", "MamáCandi", entre otros nombres populares, es la Patrona de la ciudad de Puno. Y está asociada a la Pachamama ( culto a la tierra ), el lago Titicaca, las minas y el trueno; además de simbolizar, la pureza y la fertilidad. En ella convergen también las esperanzas de los desvalidos y la tenaz fe de los creyentes.

Esta celebración dura 18 días y se presentan más de 200 danzas, en estos días se juntan hombres y mujeres, ancianos, jóvenes y niños que no cesan de bailar para la Virgen, agradeciéndole así los beneficios y milagros que les permiten seguir viviendo. En esta fiesta sin igual, la ciudad entera se une en regocijo y en un mar de color, mística y danza, ante un mudo testigo principal como son las frías y tranquilas aguas del majestuoso Lago Titicaca.

Harvest Festival in Ica:
